African Wet Fried Fish

The Tilapia in Uno Peanut Sauce hot with your favourite side dish

Ingredients

  • 1 Fried Tilapia Large Fish
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Handful of coriander leaves, chopped
  • Handful of coriander stems, chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, blended
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons Uno Peanut Powder
  • Hot water

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the Uno Peanut Powder with hot water until it forms a smooth paste. Set aside.
  • Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until they become translucent.
  • Add the blended tomatoes to the pan and cook until the mixture thickens slightly.
  • Pour in the Uno Peanut Sauce mixture and stir well to combine.
  • Add the tilapia to the pan, making sure it is coated evenly with the sauce.
  • Cover the pan and let the fish simmer in the sauce for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  • Sprinkle garam masala over the fish and sauce, then gently stir to incorporate.
  • Once heated through, garnish with chopped coriander leaves and stems.
